My life at Clausthal University of Technology - Alexandra Humann is studying for a Master's degree in Chemistry. In addition to university, she is a volunteer with the Clausthal-Zellerfeld mountain rescue service and the German Red Cross.
Alexandra, known as Alex, has always had a wide range of interests. In addition to school, she skied, danced ballet, played the flute and practiced the martial art of kung fu. She also has a broad professional background. After completing her bachelor's degree in chemistry, she decided to fulfill a childhood dream and became a qualified paramedic.
"In general, there are many opportunities if you are open to new things"
Alex actually wanted to study her Master's degree abroad, for example in Ireland or Scotland. The fact that she chose the English-language Master's degree course in Chemistry at Clausthal University of Technology instead was the best decision for her. After a year in the Oberharz, she thinks so: The place to study offers many opportunities if you are open to new things.
